About Brandon Rue
Brandon Rue is a passionate community organizer and civic leader dedicated to empowering communities through voter education and mobilization. Currently serving as a State Community Organizer with a nonprofit organization. Brandon leads nonpartisan initiatives that focus on voter registration and participation, working tirelessly to ensure that all voices are heard in the democratic process. Additionally, as the Regional Organizing Director for When We All Vote, he coordinates outreach across Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama, and Texas, fostering a culture of engagement and civic responsibility.
Brandon’s extensive experience includes managing political campaigns, such as serving as the Regional Field Director for Mike Espy’s U.S. Senate race and as Campaign Manager for the Lakeylah White for Mayor campaign. In 2019, he captured national attention with his energetic run as the Democratic nominee for Mississippi’s House District 102, where he demonstrated a strong commitment to connecting with his community and addressing their needs directly.
Brandon holds an Associate of Science in Health Science from Purdue University Global, merging his healthcare knowledge with his community-driven approach to policy and activism. He is a dedicated advocate for informed and active citizenry, committed to advancing policies that bring about real change and uplift communities across the South.
